As Vice Chair of the the Costa Mesa Parks and Recreation Commission, I have taken upon myself to help enhance all the great assets of this great city we live in. It makes me proud to be part of the legacy that our commission will create for generations to come. You can view our meeting live every fourth Wednesday of each month. by clicking on the following link- Costa Mesa Live TV24 or you can view- Archived PRC Meetings .

I also sit on the board of directors for Costa Mesa United.

Costa Mesa United is undergoing a transformatiom in our business strategy. With the passage of Measure F, the future of the stadium and pool are going to proceed in the next two phases of the Newport Mesa Unified schools campaign. With these items secured, we look to help with all athletics facilities in our city.

We are currently meeting with league officials in all areas of Cost Mesa athletics and preparing a plan to coordinate their input and hear what items are necessary for the future of Costa Mesa. We look forward to everyones input and look forward to continuing our mission to improve athletics facilities in the Costa Mesa area.

The City of Costa Mesa boasts of being one of Orange County's leading cultural and business centers. Located 37 miles southeast of Los Angeles, 88 miles north of San Diego and 475 miles south of San Francisco, Costa Mesa encompasses a total of 16 square miles with its southernmost border only 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean. The current population of approximately 103,823 has grown from 16,840 at the time of incorporation in 1953. Since that time, it has evolved from a semi-rural farming community to a city with its local economy primarily based upon retail commercial business and light manufacturing of electronics, pharmaceuticals and plastics. A general law city, Costa Mesa has a council-manager form of government and staff of approximately 600 full-time employees.
