Kurt Galitski HOSTS 3rd ANNUAL POLAR EXPRESS FAMILY EVENT

WITH SPOTLIGHT ON ABC7’S SPARK OF LOVE TOY DRIVE AND TOYS FOR TOTS TOY DRIVE CAMPAIGN

COSTA MESA, CA—Local real estate firm Weichman Associates-Realtors® hosted its 3rd annual Polar Express family event on Saturday, December 5th 2:00- 4:00 p.m. at Fairview Park. This year’s event, based on the popular family movie The Polar Express, was conceived as a way for Weichman Realtors founders Larry Weichman and Kurt Galitski to connect with their fellow Costa Mesa residents and say thank you for years of welcome support. Over 1000 attendees are expected to ride the Polar Express to Santa’s Village where children get free pictures with Santa, decorate cookies and take part in a coloring contest. “Last year’s event grew by more than 300 attendees, said Galitski, it was a huge success and we are expecting the same this year!

This year Weichman and Galitski joined forces with ABC7’s Spark of Love charity And Toys for Tots in conjunction with the Costa Mesa Fire Department to raise awareness for the toy drive. Participants in this year’s Polar Express event are asked to bring an unwrapped gift or gift card valued at $10.00. Donations are not required to take part in the event but are greatly appreciated, Brenda Emerick from the Costa Mesa Fire Department in addition to Costa Mesa’s Firemen and trucks will be on hand to collect boxes upon boxes of gifts brought in from the community. Emerick declared last year’s event a great success and has chosen to use the 2009 Polar Express Event to kickoff The 2009 Orange County Toy Collaborative Toy Drive for all of Orange County.
