New Camera Sunglasses Post Pictures On Social Media
By Kurt Real Estate Nov 23, 2019

As if we didn’t have enough immediate access to social media from our phones and watches, these sunglasses bring the immediacy of capturing and posting imagery to us in a new way. Following in the footsteps of Snapchat’s Spectacles, ACE Eyewear by Acton take this one step further by posting directly to your Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
Equipped with an 8 megapixel sensor, the glasses have Dual Core MIPS 1.2 Ghz processor for extra low power usage. Not only are they capable of recording JPEG images, but they also have a built in microphone and can capture HD video. The lenses provide 120 degree view allowing for true perspective to footage. Taking the GoPro experience to a new level, you can even live stream. With a single click of a button, these high tech shades will capture photos and record videos while sitting comfortably on your face.
With photo storage capability, this isn’t a use it and lose it type of gadget. Image organization allows you to keep track of your captures and post later. The battery life is about 8 hours on standby or 1.5 hours of continuous recording. All that and they only weigh 1.76 ounces and are water and rust proof.
It may sound crazy now, but with drones and virtual reality taking over, it’s no surprise. The ease of handless video recording is something GoPro users can attest to. The glasses are still in production but Acton expects to start shipping pre-orders April 2018. You can pre-order ACE Eyewear from the Acton website for a discounted price of $99 (retailing at $199).
